Thank you for visiting our website.
Fishing is now one of thee, if not thee, fastest growing high school sport in the United States. As it continues to grow, creating opportunities for the young men and women Student Anglers continues to be a challenge both logistically and financially…We need your help.
Our Mission Statement: The Student Angler Organization (SAO) is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to increasing fishing opportunities and environmental awareness for students, youth and schools through, competition, scholarships, education, and mentoring opportunities, creating an outdoor passion for life for the students and their families.
If you are as passionate about giving these students an opportunity to be part of a high school fishing program, and allow them to truly feel that sense of belonging like so many other athletes and clubs do, please consider helping us by clicking the donate button at the top of this page. The SAO will use your donations to help create and sustain the technology and other infrastructure needed to provide a quality experience for Student Angler Tournament Trail participants and their families. The largest portion of SAO proceeds will be awarded to the student anglers in the form of college scholarships.
The Student Angler Organization has filed for non-profit 501(c)(3) status and your financial support may be tax deductible – and greatly appreciated by the hundreds of Student Anglers and their families waiting for the opportunity.
Assistance of any kind will be greatly appreciated and is not limited to monitory donations. If you or your organization is interested in helping the SAO to continue to grow the number of kids, schools, and states participating in youth fishing, please enter your contact information below.
Sincerely,
Jimmy Bell, Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
